Setting Up For Field Nation

  • Required fields to connect to Field Nation are the QB hostname, app ID, default table ID, and the user token.

  • Work order messages in Field Nation can be mapped to a message in Quickbase. The requirement is a message table in quickbase and a text field to store the message body.

  • Assuming Crew is the main table, create a Messages table and add a Body field.

  • Go to the main table (Crew) settings and click on New to create a table-to-table relationship for Messages.

  • Connect Crew to Messages and choose Each Crew has many Messages
  • The Message fields should contain a Body and Related Crew field.
